More Than Just Accommodation. A Community That Supports Your Future

Midrand Student Accommodation is proudly owned and professionally managed by Midrand Conference Centre. We provide secure, comfortable housing for up to 300 students, set in beautifully maintained gardens with 24/7 security, on-site staff and access to a range of premium facilities.

Students enjoy access to the Elements Restaurant, gym and tranquil outdoor spaces, along with regular social events, all coordinated by our management team in partnership with the students themselves. Our private sports facilities and student teams promote both physical wellbeing and social connection.

Clear and fair house rules help maintain a safe, healthy and respectful environment for everyone on campus.

We go beyond accommodation by encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and career growth. Students can network with peers from various institutions, take part in collaborative initiatives and even apply for internships or job opportunities through the Midrand Conference Centre.

Here, students don’t just find a place to stay; they gain a platform to grow, thrive and build meaningful relationships that last long after graduation.

What We Offer

At Midrand Student Accommodation, we offer everything you need to make student life comfortable, balanced, and rewarding. From delicious meal options and high-speed Wi-Fi to fitness facilities, social spaces and a strong support system, you’ll find it all here. It’s more than just accommodation; it’s a community built to help you thrive.

What’s to Eat?

Students enjoy shared kitchens where they can prepare their own meals just the way they like. For added convenience, the Midrand Conference Centre has an on-site restaurant and students are welcome to order meals from there as well. It’s flexible, affordable and designed to suit every student’s lifestyle and preferences.

Get Connected

All our students enjoy free, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the residences, making it easy to study online, attend virtual classes, stream content, or stay in touch with family and friends. With stable internet access in both private rooms and common areas, staying connected, academically and socially, has never been more convenient or reliable.

Chilling

We believe success comes from balance. While our environment supports focused study, we also offer vibrant social spaces. The common room is perfect for relaxing or playing games. The swimming pool and braai area are student favourites. We host regular fun days to keep the community spirit alive so students unwind together.

Getting Fit

Students have access to a gym, soccer court, basketball and netball courts, table tennis, a dart board and a swimming pool. The 10-acre garden is perfect for walking or jogging safely. Our MSA sports teams compete with local colleges and informal matches, sometimes even against staff, keeping the energy and community spirit strong.

Catch a Ride

No car? No problem. We provide reliable weekday shuttle services to and from your campus at an affordable extra cost. Simply ask us about rates for your college. We also offer safe, secure parking for students with vehicles. Our location gives easy access to the Gautrain and major routes between Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Laundry Services

Doing laundry doesn’t have to be a hassle. Our on-site laundromat is available to all students completely free of charge, including facilities for both washing and ironing. It’s just another way we make life easier, more affordable, and more convenient for students staying at Midrand Student Accommodation throughout their academic journey.

The Captain

Our residence manager, fondly known as “The Captain,” leads a dedicated team that takes student wellbeing seriously. She gets to know each student personally, checking in and offering support when needed. Through one-on-one and group meetings, she helps guide students academically, emotionally and socially.

Learning Environment

Being part of Midrand Conference Centre comes with extra perks. From time to time, students have the opportunity to work part-time without it interfering with their studies. These roles offer valuable real-world experience and help students grow professionally while still focusing on academic success in a supportive environment.
